Team Overview:
The Project Finance and Real Estate team within Jefferies’ Municipal Finance division specializes in delivering innovative financing solutions and strategic advisory services for renewables, infrastructure and real estate-backed transactions. The team primarily focuses on debt execution for its clients across a wide range of public or private products across corporate, municipal and asset-backed securities markets. The team frequently collaborates with other groups throughout Jefferies.
The team is currently seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the New York office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling and credit analysis for project finance and real estate ABS transactions.
- Prepare client presentations, offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and rating agency materials.
- Assist in the execution of live deals, including investor outreach, pricing logistics, and transaction closings.
- Perform due diligence and market research.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop tailored financing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or an advanced degree.
- 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets or consulting, ideally from related fields to project finance, structured finance, renewables, energy and/or real estate capital markets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, real estate finance, or securitization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail.
Salary Range: $125,000-$200,000
