THIS IS A SYSTEM POSITON WITH OVERSIGHT OF GREAT RIVER MEDICAL CENTER AND SMC REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Manager to oversee the operations of our radiology department. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services, manage staff, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

- Manage and supervise radiology staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and imaging services.

- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including equipment procurement and maintenance.

- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and practices.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- Current certification and licensure in Radiologic Technology.

- Proven experience in a radiology management role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in radiology.

- Proficient in radiology information systems and electronic health records.
