Description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Custodian to join our team at Shooters World to clean the storefront and offices on a scheduled basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and displays.
Empty and clean trash cans throughout the store, offices, and break room.
Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
Clean and vacuum door mats and rugs.
Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and common areas.
Complete a deep clean of the refrigerators on a bi-monthly basis.
Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the General Manager.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Reliable transportation is required.
Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is necessary.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English is required to ensure effective communication with customers and staff.
