Social Media Designer

Servtech Rwanda is seeking a highly creative Social Media Designer to join our team. This role focuses on developing visually engaging content tailored for various social media platforms. You will play a key role in shaping our brand’s online presence through compelling graphics, animations, and multimedia designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce creative content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.), including static posts, carousels, reels, GIFs, and stories.

• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop cohesive visual campaigns aligned with brand messaging.

• Adapt visuals to fit the unique requirements and specifications of each social media channel.

• Stay up to date with current design trends, memes, and viral formats to ensure timely and relevant content.

• Create branded templates for regular content series and marketing promotions.

• Support video editing and motion graphics for short-form social content.

• Ensure consistency in brand look and tone across all digital visuals.

• Track performance of design content and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong portfolio focused on social media design

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Premiere Pro)

• Basic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics

• Familiarity with platform-specific requirements and design best practices

• Understanding of social media content trends and user engagement

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is a plus

• Photography and short video shooting experience is an added advantage
