Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join MAS Intimates as a Senior Merchandiser Development. This role would enable you to follow through and manage activities within the entire process, whilst supporting management in building relationships, ensuring price right, timely and accurate information is maintained with all relevant parties in order to drive operational excellence and achievement of set business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer expectations by catering to their specific development requirements and enabling the commercialization process, including pricing, in a timely manner to achieve set objectives.
• Effectively manage the customer development calendar to meet internal and external deadlines and requirements. Work on new development projects to drive business growth while maintaining cordial relationships with all internal stakeholders.
• Leverage strong business and merchandising acumen to build relationships and credibility with internal teams, external partners, and customers to drive efficiencies and operational excellence.
• Work with management to ensure all customer communications and visit preparations are completed within the stipulated timeframe, demonstrating the ability to translate customer requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials in the correct quantity, color, and article as per the BOM by coordinating progress, managing shortages or damages, providing accurate documentation, and following up on supplier payments.
• Oversee and ensure that costing, cost re-engineering, BOM, PLM, and Salesforce updates are completed accurately and on time, ensuring internal earning aspirations are met to support the achievement of set objectives.
• Ensure efficient and timely execution of order management activities, including T&A implementation, raw material delivery, PO fulfillment, cut date planning, delay alerts, and on-time completion of TOPs.
• Build connectivity between development and bulk operations, focusing on risk mitigation activities at each stage to ensure product feasibility and due diligence, leading to a seamless handover to production.
• Coordinate the sample development process, participate in development meetings, and source fabric and other raw materials based on customer requests to ensure samples and prototypes are completed and delivered on time.
• Oversee, support, and guide the team in the color sample process by updating relevant information into the system accurately and promptly to facilitate the effective completion of samples.
• Negotiate terms such as price, delivery, MOQ/MCQ, and greige availability, together with respective Fabric Technologists, to ensure the best raw material suppliers are identified, optimizing benefits in line with customer and business expectations.
• Collaborate proactively with the team to formulate, implement, and deliver lean initiatives and Kaizen activities, while also taking on new projects to achieve departmental strategies.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Degree or professional qualification in a related field.
• Fully professionally qualified.
• Prior experience in bulk order execution is a strong advantage.
• Background in mathematics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of product development, styles, and samples.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships.
