Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs

We are actively seeking an individual Overall Responsibility to execute SBU engineering related functions of manufacturing and service areas including infrastructure, projects, energy management to provide an uninterrupted Services and thereby facilitate organizational operations & ensure support for continual improvement of systems, machineries & equipment’s
 

Key Responsibilities

• Making reports, evaluate and optimize to ensure uninterrupted utility services, machine availability and resolve operation issues to facilitate continuous operations.
• Plan and evaluate engineering shift operations including machinery breakdowns, services and administrative functions.
• Conduct periodic audits and guide engineering team to ensure maintain premises as brand-new condition excluding SBU and surrounding.
• Prepare and manage annual engineering budget, evaluate budget savings, encourage team to budget saving opportunities and monitor the same.
• Preparing reports and oversee all services and maintenance activities to ensure quality services are provided with the allocated budget.
• Preparation of budget forecast continually month on month & tracking the same to optimize utilization.
• Continue relationship with relevant parties such as government authorities, BOI and private service providers to obtain approvals & ensure supply of uninterrupted infra structure facilities.
• Plan, implementation and coordination of SBU related projects such as new constructions, renovations and modifications.
• Supervise workmanship to ensure construction and project schedules to meet the required timelines and intendent quality levels, within budgeted targets.
• Planning and execution of CNC operation including Jigs, steam board, Template cutting 
• Analysis reports for Washing and Dyeing machineries, breakdowns and maintenance work including spare part maintenance & take remedial actions to reduce breakdowns and ensure the availability of spare parts.
• Regular auditing and actions to ensure smooth function of all the systems such as TOMMS, SAP, EMS and meetings with relevant users to ensure proper functioning the same.
• Monitor and review data in relation to Electricity, Steam and water consumption at the plant. Collate documentation/records to above utility meter readings and maintenance of each supply grid to ensure minimal disturbance for the day-to-day operation and ensure fulfilment of people’s and production requirements.
• Calculate Electricity, Steam and water consumptions bill of MFI and Matrix at the end of each month and send it to the MFP for billing process
• Implement, monitor and maintain environment, health and safety policies and procedures to maintain best practices by creating a hazard free work environment.
• Implement plans for environment sustainability through energy saving, ensuring the organization remains environmentally responsible whilst achieving SBU objectives and deliverables.
• Monitoring and optimizing plant energy and ensure budgetary controls and achieve relevant KPI’s and drive energy saving projects.
• Regular monitoring of Engineering spare parts inventory and ensure availability of all required spares to minimize interruptions to operations while optimizing the inventory level.
• Identify developmental needs of the team and recommend suitable interventions in response, whilst following management instructions and recommendations on training and developmental programmes for the teams.

Knowledge And Skills

• BSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering  
• 3-4 Years of experience in relevant field 
• Good Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience of handling and leading a team will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity in handling Auto CAD and MS Project Software will be a prerequisite
