Airside Safety Improvement & Insights Manager

We’re excited to announce a newly created opportunity within the Airside Improvements team. We’re looking for a data-driven and forward-thinking Airside Investigation & Improvement Insights Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative strategies that enhance safety and operational performance across our airside environment.

This is a key role where your insights will directly influence how we investigate, learn, and improve. 

• Collecting and analysing data from multiple reporting and performance systems to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
• Pinpointing patterns that highlight opportunities to improve safety, audit outcomes, and overall performance, working closely with wider teams to drive change.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and embed their feedback into continuous improvement plans.
• Partnering with the Airside Safety Improvement Manager and Airside Investigation Manager to ensure investigation trends inform safety initiatives and audit actions.
• Turning investigation data and performance metrics into meaningful insights that support a culture of continuous improvement. 

• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in identifying trends and translating data into insights.
• A track record of effective stakeholder engagement in complex operational environments.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards and visualising insights using digital tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality formal documentation. 

Ideally, you would also have:  

• A working knowledge of airside operations and the regulatory environment.

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow.  Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
