Testing Coordinator Job Summary: Coordinates and oversees all day-to-day aspects of the administration of a range of standardized testing activities conducted in a centralized testing center, to include development and coordination of testing program policies and procedures, training, and supervision of testing, and administration of testing carried out by proctors in accordance with established procedures. Manages the operation and maintenance of the center's computer testing room. Duties:• Ensures Academic Integrity, which is defined as all work submitted by students is created solely by students and is an original representation of their work which includes classwork, practice, formative and summative assessments.• Ensures that all test administration is carried out in compliance with relevant polices, regulations, guidelines, and standards.• Administers the center's computer testing room, to include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of computer/network hardware, software, and peripheral.• Maintain and publish a weekly list, each Monday morning, of students needing follow-up testing• Ensures that all students' test results and progress are documented and recorded • Ensures confidentiality of test results and recommendations; maintains security of testing materials.• Ensures the center documents the reason for administering follow-up testing prior to the scheduled 90-day test date on the Request for Early Follow-up TABE Test Form, which shall be attached to the STS Testing Tickets and forwarded to the student records department to be filed in each student's permanent record.• Ensuring the safe custody and optimum use of equipment normally used during lessons and sees to its regular servicing and maintenance.• Participating in assemblies.• Registering and monitoring the attendance of assigned students.• Participating in and contributing to students' accommodation plans.• Initiates all requisitions on supplies needed for testing within his/her classroom• Submits testing results to the training director• Meets with instructions staff to discuss new trends, techniques, and problems with the learning gains• Recommends changes in testing materials when needed.• Initiate requisition(s) for Pre-GED tests and other testing materials, as needed.• Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one's care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times.• Works towards meeting performance management goals.• Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.• Monitors, Mentors, and Models Career Success Standards and Employability Skills.• Intervene and correct inappropriate student behavior and nonperformance.• Complies with all state regulations related to testing and certification.• Records and forwards daily attendance to the records department.• Maintains building and equipment and ensures proper measures are taken for the care of equipment and supplies.• Performs other duties as assigned within the individual's scope and capabilities.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Valid state driver's license required.
