Contract Recruiter

Description

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for hourly café roles
• Partner with cafe managers to understand staffing needs and timelines
• Post job ads on relevant platforms (e.g., Indeed, local job boards, social media)
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and schedule video interviews
• Coordinate hiring events or open interview days if needed
• Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (or hiring spreadsheet)
• Support onboarding coordination via Paylocity
• Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
• Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
• Must have experience and knowledge of I9/E-Verify compliance

Requirements

• Must have retail/restaurant recruiting experience of at least 2 years
• Effective communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• High-energy and passion
• HRIS (Paylocity)
