Responsibilities
· Product Development & Maintenance
o Conduct market research and voice-of-customer analysis to design tailored credit card products that meet evolving consumer needs across Mass and Premium segments.
o Implement agile product lifecycle management, including prototype testing, phased launches, and ongoing enhancement to maintain competitive advantage.
· Onboarding & Activation
o Oversee user-friendly application and onboarding processes with integrated digital verification and KYC compliance
o Leverage data analytics to monitor onboarding funnels, swiftly identify drop-off points, and optimize the process for higher conversion.
o Drive early activation rates for new sourcing, develop targeted communication and incentive programs that encourage new customers to activate and use their cards early.
· Usage, Fee & Scheme Management
o Drive cardholder spend through tailored rewards, promotional offers, and loyalty programs aligned with segment-specific behavior and preferences.
o Maximize existing fee lines and develop new fee lines collaborating with insurance team
o Manage relationships with network schemes (Visa, Mastercard), ensuring compliance with scheme rules and capitalizing on scheme benefits to enhance product appeal.
· P&L Management (Revenue, Cost, Loss)
o Oversee end-to-end portfolio profitability by balancing revenue growth from interest, fees, and interchange with cost optimization and loss mitigation strategies.
o Utilize advanced credit risk models and fraud prevention mechanisms to minimize credit losses and operational risks.
o Maintain rigorous budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial performance with strategic business goals.
· Governance / Regulation
o Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, data protection, and local credit card industry standards.
o Implement robust internal governance frameworks with regular portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and audit readiness to uphold industry best practices.
o Collaborate closely compliance teams to ensure compliance to regulatory changes and embed controls within product and operational processes.
Requirements
o 10+ years of total experience with minimum 7 years in the credit cards business (Other functional experience Credit / Sales are added advantage)o Track record of successful implementation of product variants and innovative customer offerings.o Demonstrated ability in business planning relating to sales and distribution not limited to digital sales, credit risk, Tech, Marketing and service.o Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.o Ability to manage and implement change initiatives by taking ownership and working with all stakeholders.o Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
