Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Cards Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of our card products, ensuring they meet customer needs and maintain a market-leading position. You will drive the product roadmap, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, payment schemes, and vendors to deliver innovative card payment solutions. This role requires strong leadership, deep expertise in card payments, and a passion for agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Strategic Product Management:

o   Develop and drive the product roadmap for Mox’s card products, aligning with business objectives and customer expectations.

o   Propose and implement market-leading product features to enhance customer experience and maintain competitive edge.
o   Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity, alignment, and value delivery.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

o   Manage relationships with card schemes/networks (e.g., Mastercard, JETCO) to ensure compliance, optimize performance, and leverage partnership opportunities.

o   Work closely with payment processing vendors to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient transaction processing.

o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, legal and compliance, to deliver high-quality card products.

Team Leadership:

o   Lead and manage a dedicated squad team, assigning tasks and fostering a collaborative, high-performing agile environment.

o   Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement.

Customer and Market Focus:

o   Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to inform product strategy and feature development.
o   Ensure card products meet regulatory requirements and deliver a seamless, secure, and engaging customer experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a fintech, banking, or technology-driven environment.
• Proven expertise in card payments, including knowledge of card schemes, payment processing, and industry standards.
• Strong experience with agile development methodologies and Scrum framework, with a track record of leading agile teams.
•   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams and partners.
•  Analytical mindset with a customer-centric approach to product development.
•  Familiarity with the Hong Kong financial services market and regulatory environment is a plus.
