Job Description

In this role, you'll be based at Jersey's Gaspé House and will occasionally travel to client or other IQ-EQ Group office locations. As part of the Funds & Institutional department, you'll assist in managing a Client Administration Team, ensuring the highest standards of administration for a diverse client portfolio. 

What You'll Do –

  • Take personal responsibility for a high-value Client Portfolio, overseeing administration and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Support the Manager and Senior Manager in achieving business KPIs, including revenue targets, billable utilisation rates, and effective cash management.
  • Provide technical support to team members and contribute to process improvements for operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries to generate new business opportunities.
  • Support risk management processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in client visits, new business take-on, and fee reviews to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Identify and address training needs within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Assist in recruitment and performance management of team members, including conducting 'Everyday Conversations'.
  • Stay abreast of local and international regulatory requirements, supporting the business with impact and risk assessments.
  • Actively contribute to cross-departmental initiatives and projects to enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring –

  • ICSA or STEP Diploma qualified or other relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience
  • Sound understanding of Fund Services Business laws, fiduciary duties, and industry best practices in fund and company administration
  • Proficiency in relevant IT applications and good analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage workflow, and support team members
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
  • Risk-aware with high levels of integrity and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of other jurisdictions' laws and taxation effects on fund structures (preferred)
