Full Time

Support high-level space operations as a Project Administrator, Craftsman at Schriever Space Force Base. This role enables the effective integration of modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities into U.S. Space Force exercises by supporting the 392d Combat Training Squadron (392 CTS) and the 3IS III M&S Integration Team. Your contributions will directly impact mission readiness through coordinated project execution and innovation in space training environments.

Pay: $120,000 - $129,000

Essential Duties

Project Coordination & Documentation

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain Battlelab project documentation, including schedules, policies, resource allocations, and status reports.
  • Track and update all project-related logistics and IT requirements for exercise and event support.

Mission Support & Event Integration

  • Coordinate with exercise and event planners to support integration of M&S capabilities.
  • Participate in planning, execution, and assessment phases of U.S. Space Force exercises.
  • Serve as a Battlelab SME during M&S-related meetings and events.

Risk Management & Strategic Alignment

  • Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, and performance risks across Battlelab projects.
  • Escalate critical risks to leadership as needed to ensure milestone delivery.
  • Identify gaps in M&S tools and propose effective solutions for integration.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Organize and document outcomes of M&S Integration Team meetings, working groups, and conferences.
  • Interface with contract and government stakeholders to align project objectives with mission goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) organizations.
  • Proven experience applying project management practices to deliver complex, interrelated efforts on time.
  • Experience organizing and overseeing technical events such as planning conferences or working groups.
  • Ability to gather and analyze technical data to support resource planning and allocation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or Project Management Certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Experience managing full life-cycle technical or operational projects.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition, contracting, or PPBE processes.
  • Experience supporting DoD or National-level space organizations.

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience may be combined for total years of experience.

Required Clearance

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.

Travel

  • Limited travel required (approximately 3–4 weeks per year).
