Software Development Engineer in Test

Description

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Engineering team. As a key part of our development lifecycle, you'll collaborate with Software Engineers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who loves test automation, is passionate about quality, and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for API, UI, integration, unit testing, etc.
• Write and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to shift testing left and identify issues early
• Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality, robustness, and performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests
• Monitor and report on test execution and defects across environments
• Identify root causes of bugs and work with engineering teams to resolve them
• Must be able to be in the office 4 days a week

Who You Are

• 3–5 years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles
• Proficiency in C#, or Python, or equivalent programming language
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or REST Assured)
• Understanding of software testing principles, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork in an agile environment
