This individual will support the Mergers and Acquisitions Manager and the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) throughout the M&A deal life cycle- initial concept through acquisition and integration. This individual will use technical knowledge and industry experience to support a mix of complex and challenging transactions and business issues. Demonstrates a hands-on, entrepreneurial, open minded, high achieving, and collaborative work style to drive synergies both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modeling and qualitative research for potential acquisition targets
  • Draft investment memos, presentations, and other related M&A reports
  • Support operational due diligence, divestiture and carve out planning and execution
  • Perform model vs. actual analysis and quantify top-down synergies, dis-synergies and cost to achieve
  • Assist on merger and acquisition integration planning and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transaction outcomes
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis to evaluate growth opportunities and support key corporate initiatives
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables for internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with strong record of academic success
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on M&A and strategic analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office applications
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraged buyout modeling, valuation methodologies and financial statement analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
