Who We Are

The WeightWatchers Commercial Team drives the commercial strategy, awareness and engagement for our enterprise clients, prospects, and members . This team oversees the acquisition and full service of our clients and their members, driving powerful outcomes for individuals and their plan sponsors. The commercial team works with a variety of purchasers, including direct enterprise clients, payers, health plans, and channel partners.


What You Will Do

As a Strategic Channel Sales executive for Health Plans at WW, you will be a key contributor to the growth of our health plans channel. You'll focus on building and nurturing relationships with strategic partner account executives, serving as their main point of contact and ensuring they understand the full value ofWW portfolio to drive client consideration and revenue through the channel. Your success will hinge on your ability to understand partner objectives, effectively communicate how WW can support them, and work closely with internal teams to deliver positive outcomes. You will be responsible for managing the end to end sales motion from nurturing partner account executive relationships to selling to delivering revenue/growth through the channel.  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive new business through health plan channels to employer groups
  • Actively identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within large national and regional health plans
  • Drive joint sales initiatives and co-selling efforts with health plan partners to onboard new employer clients.
  • Lead sales presentations and negotiations with health plans and their employer clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and our value proposition.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned health plans and partnership accounts, establishing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with partner account executives
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their goals and develop joint plans that showcase how WW can contribute to their success.
  • Actively pursue and close qualified leads originating from health plan partnerships, focusing on employer accounts.
  • Manage and accelerate a robust sales pipeline of employer opportunities derived from health plan collaborations, consistently moving deals to close.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Member Success, Product Marketing, Operations) to facilitate partner & client  initiatives and ensure their needs are met.
  • Lead sales motion for any qualified leads coming through the assigned channel partner from opportunity to close.  
  • Achieve and deliver sales quota related to the assigned channel partner. 
  • Clearly communicate the value and return on investment (ROI) that WW delivers to our partners.
  • Develop a solid understanding of your partners' businesses and advocate for their priorities within WW.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in digital health, wellness, employee benefits or related sector with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, specifically selling into or through health plans to large employer groups.a partner-facing role, ideally within the  digital health, wellness, employee benefits, or a related sector with experience working with health plans.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and leveraging relationships with key stakeholders within large national and regional health plans to drive employer sales.
  • Exceptional sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a hunter mentality with a proven ability to close complex deals
  • Superior communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to leaders and executive-level audiences.
  • Existing relationships with large health plan strategic client executives.  
  • Strong understanding of the employer benefits market, healthcare economics, and the sales cycle for health plan-distributed solutions
  • A foundational understanding of business principles and the value of partnerships.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems for managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and growing environment

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.  This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.

US Pay Range$145,000$155,000 USD
