Arrowwood Co-op is hiring a Full-time Farm Hardware Clerk at our Arrowwood Farm Hardware Store in Arrowwood, Alberta.

Arrowwood is located 50 minutes southeast of Calgary and 30 minutes east of Okotoks in Vulcan County.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the General Manager and Operations Manager, you will be a key participant in the operations of the Farm Hardware through:

• Embody our values of community, integrity, and teamwork.
• Engage and interact with members and customers to provide exceptional customer service with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
• Be dependable for all available shifts.
• Process transactions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Inventory control through receiving, merchandising, sales, and stock counts.
• Operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe responsible manner.
• Become a brand expert in all commodities that we carry.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and store at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program, including wearing all required clothing and equipment.
• And all duties as required.

Who you are:

• You have strong organizational skills and great time management.
• You are proficient with Microsoft applications - Word, Outlook, Excel. 
• You have excellent written and verbal communication. 
• You have the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• You have knowledge of farm and animal supply.
• You can operate a forklift.
• You have the ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
