Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts supporting the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) Program within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This position focuses on proposal activity and contract execution for both the LTAMDS and Ghosteye product lines. The portfolio includes both FAR-based domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts with the US Army and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts with foreign customers.
This role will be an integral part of the business teams, supporting strategic solutions, and providing dynamic recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution issues. The ideal candidate should have DCS contracting experience with foreign customers. The candidate should be an effective communicator, highly motivated, and well-organized who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

What You Will Do
- Provide sound skills to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.
- Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start up phases of programs.
- Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, and contract administration.
- Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals.
- Manage DCS contracts with foreign customers.
- Effectively manage scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract.
- Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual / program risks.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Some travel required to customer locations (both domestic and international)
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Administration/ management, Program/Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Financial/Estimating Management, and international DCS contracting
Qualifications We Prefer
- Uses strong knowledge of DoD acquisition life cycle, acquisition policies and regulations under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust.
- Professional, effective written, and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; be adaptable to a variety of business situations.
- Experience working in an exciting environment and ability to multi-task across multiple programs and demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills.
- Juris Doctor, MBA, or NCMA Certification a plus.
