Domain Specialist - AML Reg Change & Projects

ING

Office

Sydney, Australia

Full Time

A new opportunity is now available for a Domain Specialist – AML Reg Change & Projects to join our dynamic FCFP tribe.

As our Domain Specialist, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the initiatives portfolio for your domain whilst holding accountability for the design and roadmap of KYC related service and process. You will lead the Customer Journey Experts (CJEs) such that through their work, they can achieve the FCFP Tribe Objective Key Results (OKRs) in line with ING Australia’s Leap Strategy.

Furthermore, you’ll inspire, develop, and embed run, change and delivery expertise and both encourage and role model innovation within your Domain and across the FCFP Tribe and KYC/FCP function. In assessing the portfolio of initiatives across the KYC domain, you’ll support the CJE’s in the prioritisation and development of business cases and delivery roadmaps, considering benefits realisation timelines, delivered non-financial risks, and at all times the value/impact to the customer.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of KYC/FCP to execute a data and Tech driven strategy in relation to run, change and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives from a KYC/FCP functional perspective.

Additionally, as a Domain specialist, you may be frequently asked to communicate – including presenting verbally and via written papers incl. business cases, with Senior Leadership Team members, including members of ING Australia’s ExCo and Global Program Leads.

This is a permanent role based in Sydney.

What you’ll do

  • Inspire, evaluate and assess CJEs performance. This includes managing all required people processes in your domain.
  • Develop domain wide expertise with optimum performance, in which CJEs meet the required (quality and quantity) standards and align with new ways of working as agreed with Head of KYC.
  • Assist the Head of KYC with end-to-end planning and development of comprehensive KYC roadmaps, considering resource and cost allocation, risk and issues and efficiencies to promote delivery excellence.
  • Act as the single point of contact between FCFP Tribe and Transformation /Enterprise Office or any other delivery teams and business unit in the context of KYC portfolio (incl. Fraud where applicable).
  • Represent and drive KYC function related initiatives and CI efforts with internal and external stakeholders incl. Group.
  • Directly lead CI efforts across KYC function (e.g. reduce risks, process efficiency, improve Ops60/Digi60/RAS performance) as agreed with Head of KYC in line with overall functional strategy and priorities.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as Product Manager/Owner, delivering customer experience and digital initiatives.
  • Mastery expertise in the fundamentals of at least one core pillar of CJE i.e. marketing, product management, process or channel optimisation.
  • Proficiency in Unica and automated management systems
  • Tertiary qualifications at Bachelor or higher in Digital, Product Development, Customer Experience or Technology disciplines, or demonstrated experience in the Technology discipline within financial services.
  • Demonstrated cross functional stakeholder management experience.
  • Confidence in being visible with senior stakeholders (within and outside of Tribe) and the ability to influence and facilitate productive cross functional working partnerships.
