Global Process Lead Deal Administration – Lending Operations & Circle Lead Deal Administration Amsterdam

Your role

The Global Process Lead (GPL) – Deal Administration is responsible for ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable processes within the Deal Administration domain. The GPL is a hands-on leader who ensures that processes are aligned with regulatory standards and internal controls, while also focusing on user and client experience. The GPL works closely with other GPLs (Deal Execution, Agency Services, Capital Velocity) and leads in migrations, NFR, Collateral, and Business Service Management.

The GPL Deal Administration has two additional roles to take into consideration:

• Manage (being the Circle Lead) the Amsterdam Specialized Back Office, a team of Deal Administration experts that will help the GPL in all the efforts of as a GPL.
• Being the Critical Business Service owner for Lending Operations and in that context chair the monthly CBS meetings that drives improvements for resilience.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership – Lead the Amsterdam Specialized Back Office (Deal Admin experts) as Circle Lead. Set clear goals and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals. Chair monthly CBS meetings as the Critical Business Service (CBS) Owner for Lending Operations.
• Customer experience – Ensure seamless client experience through robust process design and execution. Prioritize user and client satisfaction in all process improvements.
• Improvement Mindset – Drive continuous process improvements, regulatory changes, and standardization. Perform gap analyses and implement enhancements to improve control frameworks. Be connected to the market and outside developments to bring ideas internally.
• People Development – Lead and develop Local Process Leaders (LPLs) and Capability Hub Leads (CHLs). Foster a safe and collaborative work environment focused on growth and development.
• Regulatory / Compliance – Ensure all processes comply with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain a strong control environment.
• Risk Champion – Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management. Ensure error prevention and process robustness.
• Operations Management – Oversee end-to-end process performance (KPIs, SLAs). Support new business/product developments and contribute to the COO Lending strategy.

We are looking for:

• An experienced professional with 10+ years as Leader in operational lending.
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a Global process lead role-covering all WB scope
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Deal Administration
• Deep knowledge of Lending, Payments, Funding, and Loan IQ.
• Strong analytical skills and data fluency.
• Effective communicator across all organizational levels.
• Proven experience in leading change and process optimization.
• Ability to lead virtual, cross-cultural teams.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
