Job Description

Job Summary

AirAsia MOVE is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance to support group-wide strategic initiatives, fundraising activities, financial structuring, investor engagement and business planning. You will play a crucial role in supporting investment decisions, structuring financial deals, preparing investment and board materials, and ensuring that our financial strategies are aligned with our growth objectives as a leading travel and lifestyle platform in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Planning & Fundraising

  • Assist in the preparation of investor pitch decks, fundraising materials, and presentations for stakeholders including board members, investors, and banks.

  • Coordinate with external parties such as banks, legal advisors, and auditors for financing and compliance matters.

  • Maintain a robust data room and manage requests during fundraising or due diligence processes.

Banking & Financial Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with commercial banks and financial institutions for facilities, covenants, and compliance matters.

  • Coordinate internal and external reporting requirements related to loans, credit lines, and other banking instruments.

  • Prepare periodic presentations and reports for banks and board members on funding position and covenant status.
     

Strategic Finance & Analysis

  • Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, including M&A, joint ventures, and partnerships.

  • Prepare investment memos, financial models, and scenario analysis to support decision-making.

  • Conduct detailed financial due diligence and valuation analysis.

  • Support corporate finance leadership in preparing the organization for IPO, including working on financial disclosures, board materials, and regulatory filings.

Business Planning & Forecasting

  • Work with internal teams (FP&A, Product, Marketing, and Operations) to consolidate financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term business plans.

  • Analyze variances between actual performance and forecast; provide insights and recommendations to management.

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle with inputs related to capital structure, interest expenses, and funding needs.

Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and governance protocols.

  • Ensure proper documentation and governance of all corporate finance activities in line with internal controls and audit requirements.

  • Support the preparation of board and management reports related to corporate finance initiatives.

  • Track and report key corporate finance KPIs including funding runway, leverage ratios, and covenant compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in financial analysis tools and G Suite (Sheet, Doc, Slide)

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in tech, digital, or travel industries is a plus.

  • Familiarity with valuation methodologies, deal structuring, and capital markets.

  • Exposure to investor relations, M&A, or strategic finance projects.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ICAEW, or FMVA) are an added advantage
