Job DescriptionPOSITION SNAPSHOT:
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and administering the organization's compensation programs. This role supports the design and implementation of compensation structures that attract, retain, and motivate employees while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
THE ESSENTIALS:
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys to evaluate job roles and recommend competitive salary ranges.
- Analyze internal compensation data to identify pay equity trends and support decisions on promotions, adjustments, and new hire offers.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of salary structures, pay grades, and incentive programs.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams to provide compensation guidance for job offers and organizational changes.
- Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonus programs, and long-term incentive administration.
- Participate in compensation-related projects such as job architecture, career pathing, and compensation system implementations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations, such as FLSA, pay transparency laws, and wage equity rules.
- Create and maintain accurate compensation documentation, reports, and analytics dashboards.
- Stay informed on market trends, best practices, and legislative changes that impact compensation.
CREDENTIALS:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Compensation Analyst role; a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or Finance; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and strong skills in other MS Office products are required. Experience working with Workday is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making.
- Hold yourself accountable to high personal and professional standards of conduct.
