DevOps Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support our software development and deployment processes. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and ensure high system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery
• Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Python)
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a QA or software development environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Scanning and Code Analysis tools such as Black Duck, Coverity, ScanOSS, etc
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
