Data Steward Lead
Join Electrolux Group's data-driven growth and transformation journey as a Data Steward Lead, a forefront role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and accessibility of our data across the organization. You will be instrumental in supporting the DXO data governance team by developing, implementing, and maintaining robust data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
A core focus will be operationalizing data quality and data lifecycle management procedures, working closely with data management operations, data owners, and our Data & AI Product team. This highly collaborative role also involves partnering with business units and the Data & AI Product team to identify and establish necessary procedures that democratize data throughout the organization, while always ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust data quality frameworks and procedures.
Guide data management practices, including data quality, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation.
Partner with business units to identify critical data elements and establish a comprehensive data discovery catalog.
Collaborate with data product and platform teams to ensure seamless data and AI governance across all domains.
Work closely with the Data Governance Officer to roll out governance capabilities, protecting valuable data assets and supporting data-driven initiatives.
Define and monitor data quality and trustworthiness guidelines alongside data product teams, ensuring alignment with architectural principles.
Implement data governance processes, roles, and responsibilities to establish clear accountability for managing data assets.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Information Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years in data stewardship, data management, or a relevant area, with a strong preference for experience in data quality frameworks and computational governance.
Data Governance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and relevant regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU Data Act, etc.).
Data Management Proficiency: Strong command of data quality, classification, lineage, and lifecycle management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for data quality and risk assessment.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Cross-functional Communication: Skilled at translating complex data concepts for diverse audiences.
Data & Analytics Context: Holistic awareness of the data and analytics landscape, particularly in an industrial setting.
Regulatory Compliance: Hands-on experience with data-related regulatory compliance.
Global Mindset: Comfortable working effectively in a multi-cultural global team.
Language: Fluent English.
