About the role
The Territory Manager drives sales, profit, and growth in Rural, Irrigation, Plumbing, Hardware, and OEM markets through customer visits, territory and account planning, and key account development. Responsibilities include product training, merchandising, customer analysis, business development, inventory management, and executing growth strategies within the region.
The role is to be based within the territory that encompasses the region including Wide Bay and Burnett area including Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay. South West to Miles, Roma and Charleville, North to Yeppoon, West to Clermont, Longreach.
What will you do?
Achieve revenue targets, drive growth, and forecast inventory needs to align with projections.
Develop and execute business plans, identify growth opportunities and establish new accounts, and manage customer relations using CRM.
Conduct product training, maintain merchandising systems, and support customer service.
Provide sales reports, analyze competitor activity, and monitor market trends.
Manage and support promotional and marketing activities at national and regional levels.
About You
5 years of experience in relevant industries
Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and water movement would be beneficial
Expertise in Rural, Plumbing, Irrigation, Hardware, and OEM markets
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations
High level of professional integrity and commitment to excellence
Highly driven, creative, and results-oriented, always willing to go the extra mile
Resilient, self-motivated, and effective both autonomously and as part of a team
