English Language Teacher

The Roles

• Teaching General English, NZCEL or IELTS and providing academic support to students in Seafield programmes
• Could be face to face or online teaching
• Successful collaboration with colleagues and the Director of Studies, as well as personal self-assessment, evaluation and review to provide students with an innovative, motivational, supportive and high-quality learning experience
• Participation in the development, review and moderation of course materials, and curriculum and assessment design to enable graduate outcomes to be met and evidenced
• Maintenance of student records and performance including attendance records, assessment results, course outlines, moderation plans, referrals, and records

Skills and Experience

• Certificate or diploma in English Language teaching, CELTA or DELTA or equivalent
• Bachelor Degree
• Computer-literate - teaching could be face to face or online
• Experience teaching general English and/or NZCEL 4 or 5, IELTS,
• Ability and flexibility to change methodology for needs of students and the course
• Casual, fixed term and permanent roles available
