As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and help us take our financial operations to the next level.

About the Role

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function across our organisation. From managing accounts payable, receivable, payroll and reconciliations to preparing BAS, PAYG, and tax reporting. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with Australian accounting standards, and strong financial controls.

You’ll also lead month-end and year-end close processes, support budgeting and forecasting, mentor offshore finance team members, and contribute to continuous improvement in systems and reporting.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical skills, a passion for compliance, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage daily financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.

Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, PAYG and monthly Payroll Tax.

Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Maintain financial records, fixed asset registers, and ensure depreciation compliance.

Work with our offshore accounting team (Philippines) to support reconciliations and reporting.

Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Ensure full compliance with Australian accounting standards.

Drive process improvements and support financial system enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).

CPA or CA qualified (preferred).

Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role.

Experience in hospitality, retail, QSR or multi-site operations (highly regarded).

Strong knowledge of BAS, GST, PAYG, and superannuation compliance.

Proficiency in Xero and Excel skills.

Great attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Excellent communication skills, including with remote teams.
