Warehouse Technician, LTC

This employee will oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storage, and ordering of LTC supplies, as well as equipment inventory.  They will maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports, and establish/maintain par levels for supplies and rental equipment.
JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ships equipment and supplies to facilities and centers via UPS
• Maintains adequate supply of shipping containers and supplies
• Orders equipment and supplies to maintain par levels in warehouse
• Receives all shipments for LTC
• Documentation of packing slip or invoice
• Count of pieces being received
• Storage and rotation of inventory
• Maintenance of warehouse and shipping area, utilizing space efficiently and effectively
• Takes inventory and maintains accurate control systems
• Operates a computer and assigned software
• Establishes and maintains cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Maintains records and prepares reports related to assigned activities

Qualifications Education

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of responsible warehouse experience involving the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies and equipment and the shipment of orders Preferred
• less than 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
  • training provided as necessary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and shipping
• Use and terminology of requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other documents
• Space utilization and inventory techniques including the storing of equipment and supplies
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations including proper lifting techniques and safety practices
• Knowledge of basic math
• People skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
• Oral and written communication
• Must have computer skills (Excel, Outlook ETC.)
