Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Program Management to lead large-scale infrastructure and cybersecurity technology programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving digital transformation, leading cloud migration efforts, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing security-centric initiatives in enterprise environments. This individual will play a key role in aligning infrastructure and security goals with business priorities, ensuring delivery excellence, governance, and measurable value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Program Leadership & Execution
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure and security programs including cloud-native transformations, digital re-platforming, and enterprise IT stabilization initiatives.
Oversee multi-million-dollar, cross-functional programs with global delivery footprints (onshore/offshore/hybrid models).
Establish and manage program governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and executive reporting cadence.
Infrastructure & Security Enablement
Partner with engineering, DevOps, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to implement robust, scalable, and secure technology platforms.
Direct initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, network security upgrades, data center migrations, and enterprise-wide monitoring tools.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership (VP/CIO level), facilitating alignment between technology roadmaps and business strategy.
Drive consensus and collaboration across internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers in a matrixed global organization.
Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to executives, ensuring alignment and transparency across all levels of the organization.
Agile Transformation & Delivery
Champion agile methodologies (SAFe, PI Planning) and continuous delivery practices to drive efficiency, predictability, and transparency.
Lead the implementation and adoption of tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines across infrastructure and security programs.
Risk, Compliance & Change Management
Identify risks, lead mitigation planning, and ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
Oversee change management processes including communication planning, user adoption, and training strategies.
Operational Readiness & Change Management
Ensure change readiness across stores, distribution centers, and corporate functions for all infrastructure and security rollouts.
Drive communications, training, and adoption strategies for new platforms or tools, ensuring minimal disruption and rapid user enablement.
Qualifications:
Deep experience in delivering complex, global programs involving cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), application migrations, and network modernization.
Demonstrated expertise in leading digital and DevOps transformation initiatives.
Strong background in governance, risk management, vendor oversight, and cross-cultural team leadership.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with an operational lens — able to balance innovation with reliability.
Retail mindset with experience balancing innovation, scalability, and store-level reliability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive clarity and accountability.
Ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with shifting business priorities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
15+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise infrastructure or security-focused programs.
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certifications preferred.
