Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Project Manager in our Mechanical fit out team. You will oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects within the building and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and delivering high-quality results to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple HVAC projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing budgets, resources and timelines to meet project objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues and challenges that may impact project delivery, and implement effective strategies to address them
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
- Lead and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager in the HVAC industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex HVAC projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, technologies and industry best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g. AIRAH, HVAC&R Society)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members
