GenAI Engineer Lead Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic GenAI Lead Specialist to join our Data & AI Department. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Our selected candidate will work closely with clients and other team members to ensure that software solutions are efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

What you'll do:

• Join the team of AI Center of Excellence and in particular in the business / management Data, AI & CRM reporting directly to Data Lead;
• Be involved in a wide range of projects leveraging AI;
• Improve processes and products by working in a team of ML Engineers and Generative AI experts;
• In particular you will be involved in leveraging latest Gen AI tools in order to solve business problems.

What you'll bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in role as Data Scientist or similar role.
• A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Science or related fields;
• Excellent knowledge of Azure tools, including Azure OpenAI Service, managing large language models, and Azure AI ecosystem;
• Proficiency is required in Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Vector Search for semantic retrieval(or direct OpenAI embeddings use), and Azure Container Apps/Azure Web Apps for deploying containerized LLM applications with scalability and integration with other Azure services;
• Good knowledge of Python Programming Language and strong software engineering skills;
• Good knowledge of Postgres, SQL, NoSQL databases, Vectorial Databases, Langchain, Llama Index, , AI Agents, API development etc is a plus; Understanding of code optimization and parallel computing.
• At least one Data Science IDE (PyCharm, Visual Code Studio, or other popular IDEs), Cloud computing, Azure Cloud, OpenAI services;
• Proactivity, flexibility, an innovative thinking mindset;
• Experience in a collaborative environment and deliver high standard products;
• You are proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written.

Preferrably, you also have:

• Previous experience in international context. A proof of deploying IT/AI solution within an international recognized organization is a plus ;
• Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript(preferably React experience),C#.
