Position Summary

The Lead Specialist, Quant Feeds & Platform sits within the Quant Feeds & Platform Specialist Customer Support team.

The Quant Feeds & Platform Specialists team plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the platform. The teams' contributions span across multiple critical areas, including enabling sales success, supporting client retention and growth, and facilitating detailed migration efforts. 

Effectively engaged throughout the entire sales lifecycle, the team collaborates closely with internal customers and clients to ensure users unlock the full potential of the platform. By demonstrating deep expertise in both content and platform capabilities, they help clients understand and improve the value the platform can deliver. This engagement also ensures a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new users.

Beyond the sales and onboarding phases, the team also functions as a second-level issue point for existing products. They provide advanced support by addressing sophisticated client queries and ensuring timely, accurate resolutions, further reinforcing client happiness and trust in the platform.

We work closely with partners from other Customer Support teams, S&AM, Product Management, Development, Technology, & Performance Excellence, to improve the service quality and ensure that we can accurately anticipate Customer needs.


Role Responsibilities

  • Lead new customer content setup integration that meets the customer requirements and achievements, including content validation and mapping, efficient usage of the content and product, job scheduling, and client training

  • Collaborates optimally with multi-functional business partners on business growth, product design, release rollouts, EOL/migration, incident issue, retention initiatives and strategic plans and processes

  •  Partners with People Leader to continually evolve Specialist capabilities to reflect outstanding customer-centric processes through relevant documentation, tools, & technical delivery methodologies

  • Mentors/Coaches staff to ensure accurate delivery of services & solutions and applies sophisticated project leadership skills to drive and implement high priority initiatives around tools, processes and working practices to be a best-in-class service

  • Partners with Sales & Customer Consulting to ensure standard methodologies around best usage, extraction and utility of our solutions for our clients and advises solution sets for customized clients.

  • Provides expert troubleshooting and applies subject matter mastery to resolve customer issues.

  • Advises the resolution of sophisticated or unusual technical and operational problems which may be multi-disciplinary

  • Is an expert Business Critical Communicator and displays accountability and ownership throughout the escalation process


Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Recommended Degree or equivalent experience: Finance, Business, Information Science, Computer Science, or Economics

  • Significant experience in client-facing role in relevant financial or data modelling industry

  • Sophisticated understanding of the business area, customer profile, and products supported

  • Significant previous experience in customer support functions with in-depth knowledge of technical subject area or specialism

  • Previous stakeholder management experience.
