About The Centre:

Eastbrooke Family Clinic Southport (Part of Bupa) is a modern medical centre located on Nind Street in Southport, Gold Coast. Our purpose-built medical centre features ten GP consulting rooms, a spacious treatment room, a pharmacy and a dedicated pathology and procedure room to provide patients with a streamlined “all in one” clinic experience with their doctors.

The Opportunity:

We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Eastbrooke Family Clinic Southport available for an experienced Medical Receptionist seeking casual work:  

• Available to work Mondays and Fridays (between 8am to 6pm) and additional days as required 
• Friendly, fun and dedicated team
• Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
• Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
• Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
• processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPs and Medicare
• Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
• High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

You’Ll Be:

Our Receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you’ll need: 

• Available to work Mondays and Fridays (between 8am to 6pm) and additional days as required 
• Previous Medical Reception experience with Best Practice knowledge will be highly regarded
• You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about customer service and patient care
• Organised with attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
