The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in Procurement, Planning, or Supply Chain roles, or a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate tasks and rapidly understand new operational areas, objectives, and processes.
  • Strong skills in problem resolution, negotiation, and influence.
  • Excellent interpersonal capabilities.
  • Experience in developing documentation such as business process maps.
  • Adaptable and committed to ongoing learning.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships across the organisation.
  • Seeks guidance, support, and commitment from stakeholders to implement mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Recognises and acts on opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates commitment to change through actions and communication.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and address supply chain bottlenecks, taking proactive measures to eliminate or mitigate them.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions that align supply chain delivery with Service Level objectives, balancing performance with cost efficiency.

  • Shape business processes by offering informed recommendations and alternative solutions to improve labour efficiency, yield, or sales performance.
  • Prioritise critical initiatives and resolve competing priorities, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Promote and lead change by fostering continuous improvement and encouraging team commitment toward enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness by striving for an in-depth understanding of data; challenge incorrect or incomplete processes or data as appropriate.
  • Act decisively in demanding situations, taking responsibility and accountability to achieve high standards of excellence.
