Location: Salem, MA (Just 15 miles north of Boston)
Mass General Brigham (MGB) – Salem Hospital is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Moonlighter to provide weekend inpatient coverage at our state-of-the-art Heart Center.
Position Highlights:
- Provide inpatient Interventional Cardiology coverage at Salem Hospital, a community-based hospital with no cardiac surgery onsite but fully integrated within the Mass General Brigham system.
- Flexible weekend schedule- min. 8 weekends per year preferred. Option for weekday coverage may also be available for interested candidates.
- Coronary catheterization and STEMI call coverage, managing a variable caseload (typically 1 to 4 cases per day).
- Access to advanced interventional tools, including:
- Mechanical support devices: Onsite Impella and IABP.
- Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) for precise imaging and assessment.
- Calcium modification tools, including Shockwave IVL.
- Work alongside a collegial and collaborative medical team, including interventionalists, cardiologists, intensivists, and hospitalists.
About The Heart Center at Salem Hospital:
Our fully integrated cardiac program offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment, including:
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stents
- Angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology
- Cardiac ablation, rehabilitation, and evaluation/testing
