Chart a Course to Success: Become a Client Success Navigator!

If so, GAAMHA has an incredible opportunity for you: become a Client Success Navigator (CSN)!  We're not just looking for someone to fill a job; we're seeking a navigator, a guide who can help individuals with disabilities chart a course toward greater independence, community inclusion, and a truly fulfilling life.

As a CSN, you'll be at the heart of that belief, providing personalized support and training that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and live rich, meaningful lives. What You'll Do (and Why It Matters):
  • Empowerment Advocate: You'll plan and support individuals in a wide range of daily activities, from vocational training and personal living skills to recreational outings and community integration. You'll help them discover new interests, build confidence, and become more independent.
  • Health and Safety Champion: You'll assist individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles, monitor their well-being, and ensure a safe and clean environment. You'll be a key observer and will report any changes in their health or behavior.
  • Life Skills Coach: You'll provide training and assistance in everything from healthy dietary choices to personal hygiene, adapting your approach to meet each individual's unique needs.
  • Communication Hub: You'll stay connected with the team by checking and responding to program messages daily.
  • Performance Partner: You'll observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on individuals' performance in group settings and work assignments, helping them develop valuable skills and build self-esteem.
  • Transportation: You'll safely transport individuals to activities, work, and home, adhering to all GAAMHA safety policies.
  • Record Keeper: You'll accurately document progress, observations, and other important information in our electronic records system, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Team Player: You'll actively participate in required training and maintain a professional demeanor at all times, reflecting GAAMHA's values and commitment to dignity and respect.
     
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in human services or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but your genuine desire to help others is what truly matters.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.  Bi-Lingual candidates a plus!
  • A clean CORI (criminal record check).
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
     
Growth Opportunities:
We offer different levels of CSN positions, with opportunities for advancement based on certifications, experience, and performance.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves some physical activity, including assisting with daily living activities, bending, cleaning, standing, climbing, kneeling, and pushing (e.g., wheelchairs).
