Senior Executive - Production

(Based at Bodyline - Horana)

The company has evolved from making simple minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor and ensure the achievement of production targets whilst working with IE, quality, technical teams to uplift the production capability of the assigned modules. Execute special projects to achieve desired business goals while maintaining a highly motivated and inspired workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the effective co-ordination of the sewing function in order to produce garments of the required quality and performance levels to meet production targets and on time delivery by conducting periodic follow-ups and problem solving.
Ensure the effective coordination with planning and merchandising teams to make sure the optimum plant loading is done to maximize productivity by attending the weekly input meetings and monthly planning meetings.
Coordinate the factory integration and QCO processes to ensure minimal bucket loss to the production, by attending the periodic QCO meetings, PP meetings etc.
Ensure compliance standards of the organization are met in line with the legal requirements and customer standards, to ensure a healthy, safe and secure working environment for all the employees.
Execute continuous improvement of the operation in terms of minimizing WIP, improving throughput time and optimizing module configuration through lean principles and related tools to reduce costs and to eliminate cost of failure.
Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group policies & procedures, best practices relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Degree in Physical Science or any discipline from a recognized university.
4-5 years’ production experience in apparel sector.
Negotiation & presentations skills.
