Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily electrical and instrumentation activities on site, ensuring compliance with project schedules and safety regulations.

  • Oversee installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical equipment, control systems, and instrumentation.

  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation works adhere to project design, engineering specifications, and quality standards.

  • Manage and lead site E&I personnel, including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor material usage and availability, ensuring timely procurement and reporting any shortages or delays.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical and instrumentation works, including as-built drawings, test reports, and compliance certificates.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures specific to electrical and instrumentation tasks.

  • Liaise with project management, engineering teams, and client representatives to resolve technical and operational issues.

  • Ensure all site activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.

  • Provide technical support and guidance during commissioning and start-up phases.

  • Participate in site meetings and provide regular progress reports related to electrical and instrumentation works.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.

  • Experienced as an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor in construction and mining projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and safety standards.

  • Familiarity with project management and construction site protocols.

  • Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation diagrams.

  • Experience with commissioning and testing of electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.

  • Valid safety certifications and training (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) preferred.

  • Willingness to work on-site in remote or challenging environments.
