Job Description

The Internal Global Equities team invests in high quality businesses with strong potential to compound and produce high returns. The analyst will work within the team to analyse companies, industries, themes and financials of prospective investments.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse business models, business strategy, industry structures and the nature of competition. This may include travel to companies and conferences to meet with and assess company management and operations
- Analyse financial statements and create valuation models
- Conduct research on topical issues eg deep dive on Artificial Intelligence or the bifurcation of the consumer between high and low end
- Assist with reporting, record keeping, presentations, attribution and spreadsheet creation and maintenance
- Improve efficiency through coding or artificial intelligence skills whilst not necessary is welcomed
Qualifications
- Tertiary degree or equivalent experience
- Undertaking or intention to undertake CFA is preferred but not necessary
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Natural curiosity and a passionate interest in financial markets and investment management
- Demonstrated research skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to communicate in verbal and written form
- Coding ability is valued but not necessary
