Roles & responsibilities
Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Possess knowledge and understanding for corporate income tax requirements and accounting requirements in APAC countries. •Review of draft corporate income tax returns and statutory accounts for APAC countries and ensure the compliance with the tax regulations. •Provide tax compliance and advisory services to trusts, corporation and partnerships for various clients.. •Reviewing Statutory Accounts under IFRS. •Delivering on a range of technical accounting and tax advisory engagements. This will include: •Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on technical tax and accounting matters. •Proactively monitor changes in the tax laws and interact with key client engagement team/onshore team to gather information and resolve tax-related problems. •Providing accounting support and research to clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards •Supporting onshore business development related to are as such as proposals for new business, IFRS convergence, new accounting / tax pronouncements and other regulatory changes which impact accounting decisions •Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope •Working directly with the onshore engagement team on a daily basis to deliver work to onshore clients; •Managing a team of staff to support the engagement delivery and managing staffing resource decisions as required. •Training the staff on country specific tax requirements •Acting as a performance manager for the staff and being involved in the career development of the staff •Building relationships with the onshore teams in order to drive hours offshore.Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Understanding international and local tax requirements as well as US GAAP and IFRS framework and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively. •Ability to research, read, comprehend and critically examine accounting standards and tax pronouncements in order to have an informed point of view is a MUSTRoles & responsibilities

•CA / CPA / ACCA with 6+ years of exp •Bachelor's degree in accounting finance or related field. from an accredited college/universityWork experience
•Proven tax experience in corporate income tax returns or working in tax related role with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization. •Deep knowledge of corporate tax, laws, regulations and tax compliance.. •Experience in finalization of Statutory Accounts under IFRS / US GAAP •Experience of working on tools like Taxlabs, XPA, XERO, TR-Onesource or similar tax tools.Project and Team management exposure
•Prior experience in project scoping, effort estimate, project work planning, team handling, staffing, providing feedback, etc. •Led team on projects and experience of handling direct reportees including their performance management •Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects •Evidence of managing client / stakeholder relationships, preferably in an off- shore / on-shore environmentManager SFS
