Laundry & Kitchens Technician

As a Laundry & Kitchen Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing laundry and kitchen equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our hotel by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring optimal functionality.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all laundry and kitchen equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, steamers).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to laundry and kitchen systems.
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained according to IHG standards and local regulations.
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Coordinate with the Engineering team for larger repairs or installations.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.

What we need from you

•  Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
•  Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel, hospital, or industrial laundry/kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial laundry/kitchen equipment and safety practices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
•  Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
