We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As the face of our hotel, the Front Office Manager will oversee all front office functions, ensuring efficient service, smooth guest check-in/check-out procedures, and the highest standards of hospitality.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Supervise daily front office operations including check-ins, check-outs, guest services, and reservations.
  • Manage and train front desk staff, concierge, bell desk, and night auditors.
  • Ensure outstanding guest service by handling guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain room availability and coordinate with housekeeping for efficient room status updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare front office budgets and manage labour costs within budget.
  • Monitor and analyse guest satisfaction trends; take action to improve service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of front office systems and technology.
  • Create work schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor team members.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or in a supervisory front desk role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Maestro, or similar PMS).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanour.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
