We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Human Resources Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our HR department. This role is vital in ensuring effective recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and compliance with labour laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, have strong organizational and communication skills, and bring experience in HR practices—ideally within the hospitality industry.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Support the HR Manager in implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with hotel and brand standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening candidates, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and attendance.
  • Handle employee relations matter professionally and confidentially, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in managing payroll inputs and attendance tracking in coordination with the finance team.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Prepare HR reports, statistics, and metrics for management review.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors and team leaders on basic HR issues and performance management.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the hotel, hospitality, or service industry.
  • Good knowledge of labor law, HR processes, and employment best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
