Senior Supply & Demand Planner

We are looking for a Senior Supply and Demand Planner to manage demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain operations, working with suppliers, optimizing stock levels, and improving forecast accuracy. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential. This role requires balancing demand and supply efficiently while ensuring seamless product availability and minimizing risks.

● Perform a monthly demand planning exercise with all customers and translate the demand plan into a supply plan per supplier.

●Place orders with suppliers as per supply plan, paying attention to lead time, supply constraints and logistics/shipping constraints.

● Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.

● Evaluate budgets and expenditures.

● Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.

● Analyzing operations to find ways to reduce risk.

● Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply

chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.

● Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to

meet quality and delivery requirements.

● Performs other related duties as assigned.

● Plan for new product launches: Develop demand forecasts and inventory plans for new product launches to ensure a successful rollout.

● Collaborate with finance on budgets: partner with finance to integrate demand forecasts into annual and quarterly budgets, keeping everything aligned with company targets.

● Submit monthly demand reforecasts: Adhere to a monthly schedule for submitting updated demand reforecasts to suppliers, incorporating the latest sales data, trends, and any identified market changes to keep forecasts aligned with current business needs.

● Oversee make-to-order (mto) processes: manage to demand by closely coordinating with production (at the supplier level) and supply chain teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, balancing production efficiency with customer requirements.

● Oversee make-to-stock (mts) inventory: manage mts demand by accurately forecasting and planning stock levels to ensure readily available inventory, minimizing stock outs and excess inventory while meeting customer demand efficiently.

● Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management.

Strong proficiency in demand forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Excel.

Experience working with suppliers, logistics providers, and inventory management systems.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to optimize supply chain processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
