A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a Technical Consultant Supervisor for an open position within the CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) line of business with responsibility on the whole Lombardy region. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the business within your assigned district. You will ensure that all customers receive excellent clinical and technical support, along with high-quality educational activities. Your focus will be on achieving or exceeding business targets while also strengthening Medtronic’s reputation in the market. You will be expected to allocate and use company resources effectively to support these goals.You will also play a key role in building a strong, performance-driven team by identifying and developing talent. Collaboration is essential, and you will work closely with Technical Consultant Supervisors from other districts to ensure smooth and efficient planning of procedural support. Your leadership will contribute directly to the continued success and credibility of Medtronic in the field. This role will be home-based, under a permanent contract.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plans and Coordinates Field Activities: Oversees the planning and execution of clinical, technical, and educational programs. Prioritizes daily/weekly technical support in the operating room and collaborates with sales, marketing, and education teams to align with district goals.
- Leads and Supports Technical Team: Manages and guides Technical Consultants by setting goals, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring high-quality support for procedures, including device setup and troubleshooting.
- Manages Stakeholder Relationships: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key district customers. Ensures effective communication and collaboration with the District Manager, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Handles Reporting and Compliance: Completes timely administrative tasks and reports on customer trends, competitor activity, implant rates, and adverse events. Ensures accurate documentation and communication using company systems.
- Develops Talent and Drives Team Performance: Uses HR tools to grow team capabilities, facilitates regular team meetings, delivers product and strategy training, and allocates resources effectively to optimize district performance and support.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Possesses deep knowledge of the CRM business and Medtronic leadership principles.
- Skilled in navigating complex environments and collaborating with sales teams, leaders, clinicians, and hospital staff.
- Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and respect in professional interactions.
- Capable of effectively organizing and prioritizing team activities in the field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
