IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As our Site Manager, you need to contribute towards developing the manufacturing strategy for the Site as part of the Business Unit Manufacturing strategy according to the BU’s strategy, and to execute the agreed strategy, within SHE requirements and other relevant guidelines, by directing and leading the Site organization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Responsible for the overall activities on the site including SHE & Security compliance, Production, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, Personnel and organization development.

To represent the Site inside and outside the company and to manage the interfaces with all relevant stakeholders.

Working Relationships

Internal: Global Operation Team, & related sub-teams on Technology, Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Global R&T, Global Sourcing Team, Demand and Supply Chain Managers of other  Envalior Business Units, Corporate SHE&M, Legal, Envalior sites in Greater China.

External:  Customers, Vendors (Raw Materials, Equipment, MRO), Service Providers (Contractors, Consultants on Law and Tax Practices, Legal), local Government, local authorities, local community

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Chemical Engineering or Technology.
  • 10 years of experience covering at least 3-4 disciplines in a manufacturing organtzation (such as production, maintenance, quality, safety projects, etc...).
  • Envalior Requirements (Safety, Security, Manufaccuring and Quality)
  • Local compliances/ regulations related to Permits, Labor Law
  • Industry specific compliances (UL, IS09001,IS014001).
  • Internal Control aspects related to a manufacturing setup (Inventory, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Payments, etc)
  • Good leading and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player with good coaching skills and have the capability to challenge and drive the team to achieve higher performances.
  • Balanced temperament, able to work under pressure and prioritize.
  • Ability to work within multicultural and international environment.
  • Good spoken and written skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Experienced people manager. Proven in leading an organization of at least 40 people.
  • Experience in developing relationship with local authorities, banks, business partners.
