Legal Counsel, Commercial Contracts

We are seeking an experienced Counsel specializing in Contracts and Commercial Law to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various commercial agreements
• Legal Advisory: Legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial contracts and business operations.
• Compliance: Ensure all contracts and commercial activities comply with applicable Iraqi laws and regulations.
• Dispute Resolution: Support the resolution of contractual disputes and provide legal representation.

Requirements

• Law degree or equivalent.
• Member in the Iraqi Bar Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing commercial law.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is essential.
