What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience working in a CILA home for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Completion of DSP training, ability to pass the TABE test, and maintain medication administration authorization
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work 11:00 am – 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm either Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision of CILA homes, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely
  • Ensure staff complete required DSP, RBT, CPR/First Aid, and Med Admin trainings within established timeframes
  • Monitor health, safety, and infection control practices, including emergency preparedness and COVID protocols
  • Maintain budget compliance for home expenses (groceries, link card, gas, etc.)
  • Ensure timely maintenance requests, medication coverage on all shifts, and proper vehicle log documentation
  • Promote community inclusion by planning engaging activities for members
  • Complete documentation in Therap and Quantum; ensure staff are trained and compliant
  • Lead and document monthly staff and member meetings, and monitor personal item inventories
  • Serve as the primary responder to home emergencies and maintain 24/7 accessibility via agency-issued phone
  • Support agency rep payee accounts, pay card usage, and budgeting assistance for members
  • Maintain a professional, supportive environment while ensuring compliance with all state and agency policies

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in the Short-Term Stabilization program  

Other Responsibilities:

  • Must complete required annual trainings.
  • Participate in variety of committee and staff meeting groups.
  • Participate in quarterly quality assurance reviews.
  • Attend and assist at agency and member events.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
