The Principal Advisor- Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) is expected to lead and support inclusive practices that enhance access, participation, and educational outcomes for CALD children and families across C&K services.

Fixed Term Full Time until 12 December 2025

You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by:

  • Supporting implementation of CALD educational strategies and practices and engages support services as required, to maximise benefits for all children and C&K centre and support staff.
  • Providing expert support and advice on the effective inclusion of children within C&K services who have a CALD background.
  • Supporting the advancement of reconciliation at C&K to strengthen relationships and cultural safety.
  • Supporting to improve outcomes for children, families and communities from a CALD background.
  • Maintaining a strong and expert knowledge of current best practice, recommended guidelines and legislation relating to early childhood inclusive education and CALD.

What You’Ll Bring

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood education
  • Hold and maintain Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
  • Experience in a similar leadership role would be desirable
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • Current Police Check
