As an Associate Engineer you will be provided with a great and varied range of opportunities that will see you develop your skills, work with mentors, and empower you to take control of the direction in which your career moves. Westpac will provide guidance and support to assist you to achieve your career goals, making you accountable to contribute to the success of the programme.

Based in Auckland, you will gain hands-on experience across different business units, where you are an integral part of a cross functional team helping deliver quality, customer-centric solutions.

Currently we are looking at hiring an Associate Engineer for the below role.

Back End Engineer – Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications and databases using Java Spring Boot microservices.

We are looking for individuals from a range of disciplines who bring a diverse perspective and a can-do attitude. A self-starter, with a curious mind and ideally but not limited to a technology background. You will have an interest in technology and possess a growth mindset, including the ability to adapt and be flexible.
